Let's have a heart-to-heart about redefining your health journey. Let’s not just talk about fitness goals; let's talk about what you need to become a better you so you can feel better, stronger, healthier, more energized, and happier than before.

Are your goals sustainable? It's great to have ambitious goals, but are these goals that you can and will stick to? There is a method to creating sustainable goals called SMART – Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound. Whether it's incorporating short workouts, achieving a specific energy level, or even just feeling more active, let's break it down into manageable steps. A specific goal could be, "I want to run a 5k." Measurable - find a race and a 5k distance that you would like to run. Achievable - I will run a 5k by following a couch to 5k program 2 days per week. Relevant - Running a 5k is relevant as it will help me achieve the fitness I would like to have. Time-bound - I will run a 5k in 12 weeks from now. Now that you have seen an example, is there a way you want to break down your goals?

I know how hard it can be to maintain a busy schedule and feel like there is no time for yourself. I am telling you there is a way to create time for yourself and give yourself more energy in the process! Ever thought about squeezing in short workout sessions during your busy day or creating a soothing playlist for some calming stretches? These practical tips can be the key to staying consistent with your fitness routine, even in the midst of a bustling household.

I've discovered that integrating brief mindfulness breaks into my day helps maintain balance. Let’s explore how you can infuse balance into your life while pursuing your fitness goals without feeling overwhelmed. This could look like taking a moment to thank yourself in the mirror. Celebrating that 10-minute walk you had today. Reminding yourself that progress isn't always linear. Taking time to compliment yourself.

Do you have friends that can join you and encourage you? Who in your life can add to your journey and keep you committed to your path? If there isn’t anyone that comes to mind, is there a class you could join?
